As we see snow on our lawns and feel the brisk winter winds outside,  it’s the perfect time to enjoy some of the warm and cozy SCA activities we have in store this month and next. First up, the launch of our new Parents Group on Friday, February 28, with a Happy Hour at Siena at The Watershed, from 6-8pm. Stop by to meet other Silvermine parents and explore new ways to connect throughout the year. The volunteer team leading this is open to all ideas! Big thanks to parents Kelly Catta, Melissa Accomando, Lauren McBeth and Brooke Weicher for leading the way. On Saturday, March 8, from 5-6:30pm, we are hosting our first Jazz + Art Series in partnership with the Silvermine Arts Center– listen to live jazz, sip wine, enjoy savory bites and learn about a featured piece of art at the Center. The SCA is delighted to work with Barbara Linarducci and Roger Mudre from the Arts Center to provide events like this. Finally, be on the lookout for the launch of our first SCA Membership Drive– help us grow our membership by reaching out to your friends and neighbors who are not yet members but should be.
