Happy Summer everyone! I hope you are managing to stay cool in our sultry weather. We are VERY excited to be kicking off our first Membership “Summer Drive.” It’s a chance for current members to spread the word with their fellow Silverminers to join the Association, deepen our sense of community, and introduce even more folks to our wonderful programming. The Drive also is reaching those who are not members… yet. We’re aiming to grow by 100 households by the end of the year. To specifically promote activity during the summer months, we’re offering a few fantastic raffle items: gift certificates to Siena at The Watershed (with their beautiful wall of windows and amazing food), the Silvermine Arts Center (and its lovely gift shop!) and Cafe Dolce (I’m a big fan of their delectable cheese danish…my husband loves their savory crepes). Also, watch your e-mail for announcements about a July Passion Pod, Design + Desserts! (Hmmmm, there seems to be a food theme this month). With our Photo Contest in full swing, be sure to submit your photos of gorgeous Silvermine before August 31. Shutterbugs of all levels and ages are welcome.
