I hope everyone is staying cool during our sultry summer days. I am already dreaming of crisp Fall days! By now you should have received your Summer Membership Drive letter explaining our goal of growing SCA membership by 100 by the end of the year. We definitely need your help to accomplish this– feel free to drop the flyer we included in your letter with a neighbor who doesn’t (yet) know of the many wonderful benefits of being a member. There’s a raffle at the end of the summer to complete this part of the Drive– an entry will be made for each new and referring member (who will have a chance to win a Siena at The Watershed, Silvermine Arts Center or Cafe Dolce gift certificate!). In the meantime, be sure to RSVP for our Summer Movie Night on August 9 (rain date August 23). Tony Bellomy, SCA Programs + Events Committee Chairperson, is showing Raiders of the Lost Ark in his backyard. He’ll provide the popcorn…please bring your chairs and blankets. I look forward to seeing you there and having a fun night out with my fellow Silverminers!
