I hope you’re enjoying seeing crocuses and daffodils bloom as much I am! Now we just have to be patient as trees with their small green buds slowly emerge to complete the gorgeous Silvermine scenery that helps make this area so special to live in, walk around in and show off to visiting friends and family. As for the SCA, we are bursting with new and “signature” events for everyone to enjoy. Our annual Pancake Breakfast with the Easter Bunny is Saturday, April 12, 9am to 11am, at the Silvermine School. Hop on over for yummy food, fun and games for the kids, and a great 70s and 80s classic rock band. We’re also looking for volunteers to join the SCA Board in our annual Silvermine Clean-Up Day to honor Earth Day and, well, just make sure that trash strewn about doesn’t mar our lovely neighborhood. This important event needs lots of volunteers (of all ages) to spread out across Norwalk, New Canaan and Wilton! It’ll be on Saturday, April 26 from 9am to 12pm. Please e-mail me if you’re interested (roselanard@gmail.com). Finally, we have a few Passion Pods (wine tasting, floral design and beekeeping to name a few) in store for you, dates to be confirmed soon…so watch this space! As always, thank you for your support of the SCA!
