What?
A photo contest celebrating the beauty of Silvermine in four categories: Waterscapes; Historic; Floral/Plants/Trees; and, Animals/Wildlife. Photos will be judged and scored by professional photographers, independent of SCA, in areas such as composition/arrangement, creativity, technical quality, category relevance, and overall Silvermine representation.

Who?
Open to all current SCA members/households. Shutterbugs of all ages and skill levels are welcome!

Prize?
All submissions will be displayed at the SCA Fall Social. Professional judges will review all photos to determine the top-scoring photos to be featured in a 2026 Silvermine Calendar and on a set of notecards.

When?
Photo submissions are due by August 31, 2025. Judging will take place in September. Winners will be announced at the SCA Fall Social in October. Calendar and notecards will be available for purchase on the SCA website in December 2025. Proceeds will support SCA programming and the annual Silvermine Scholarship Program.
