Santa Visits Silvermine on Christmas Eve!
What:
One of our oldest and most popular traditions is Santa Claus’s visit to Silvermine on Christmas Eve, when he greets children who’ve been nice all year with gifts and spreads good cheer. Hot cocoa, candy and holiday music await everyone.
When:
Tuesday, December 24, 2024 10:00am to 12:00pm:
Parents drop off gifts at Santa’s Elves’ Workshop at 297 Silvermine Avenue, Norwalk, the beautiful antique home of Chip and Yvonne Brown. Here is a picture—it’s steps away from the GrayBarns Tavern and Mercantile Café.
Important Note: Each gift must be wrapped and clearly labeled with each child’s first and last name on it. Sometimes Santa forgets his glasses so be sure the print is bold! Multiple gifts comprising a family must be tied together with string.
2:00pm to 3:00pm
Everyone gathers at the Silvermine Arts Center parking lot (1037 Silvermine Road, New Canaan) and enjoys the refreshments and festivities in anticipation of Santa’s arrival.
3:00pm
Bells start ringing, Ho Ho Hos are heard and Santa arrives! He hands out gifts with the help of his elves, and everyone enjoys the festive spirit.
